At Moon Dog, we put the “fun” in “functions”!
Sitting right next door to our world famous Brewery Bar, the Ballroom Oasis is a bloody gorgeous space full of exposed beams and bricks, natural light, and timber. The fairy lights, chandeliers, and lush green plants make it unmistakably Moon Dog, and from the moment you walk into the room, you know one thing for sure: this place was built for legendary parties.
The Ballroom Oasis is available to hire seven days a week for all of your event needs. We’ve hosted weddings, birthdays, engagements, karaoke jams, indoor beach parties, exhibitions, markets, roller discos, movie screenings — you name it, we can host it. Even better, we can make sure that all of your favourite Moon Dog beers are on tap for your guests, along with a huge range of other drink options.

When is the Ballroom available?
4pm-11pm Monday-Friday and 12pm-11pm Saturday and Sunday

Can we book it for fewer people?
Unfortunately not, but you’re able to book a table or two in the brewery bar next door.
What’s the music situation? Can we have a band?
Unfortunately, due to licensing we can’t have live music in the ballroom. But you can bring in a DJ or play your own music through our sound system.
Do you offer drink packages?
Beer and drinks can be purchased as a bar tab (normal bar prices per drink) or as a beverage package (price per person). Our regular beverage package includes sparkling wine, a choice of red and white wines, a cider, eight beers on tap and soft drinks.
Do you have alcohol other than beer?
We have a choice of wines, cocktails and can organise spirits. If you’ve got your heart set on something special, let us know and we can try to arrange this for you.
Are you able to provide food?
Our on site pizza caravan only has capacity to sling enough pizzas for the brewery bar. You’ll need to organise your food from another provider, if you’re after suggestions we have a bunch of food trucks and caterers that we’ve worked with and can recommend.
Can we have a sit down function?
We are set up for cocktail functions, providing seating for about 60 people, comprising of chairs and tables, bar stools and benches. If you prefer a sit down event, extra tables, chairs and glassware would have to be hired (this is usually handled by the caterer), and would incur extra staffing costs for setup and pack down.
